New Years Day Run

Tuesday, 1/1/13, the Paulson's have, one again, been nice enough to open their house for us this year for our first miles of the year.  Park here and please be kind to their neighbors (address can be found on the link)...If you wish to bring something to pass please let the Paulson's know.

If we don't see you have a wonderful New Year and we will see you out on the road!!

Saturday's Run/Walk

There was some concern that the southside bike trail might not be cleared but I went down there yesterday and it was all clear.

So SouthSide Bike Trail (park here)

7:00 am

Route: Southside Bike Trail - 6.2 mile route

Coffee - Panera

UPDATE -- Christmas Lights Run - Sunday night 6:30 pm

Same place and time just a different night -- tomorrow, Sunday, December 23rd 6:30pm

We will start in the Piggly Wiggly parking lot at the corner of Spring and Newman (park here) and run through the Independence Rd and the James Town neighborhoods (route here).  We will meet at 6:30 PM

In light of the weather - and the fact that this run is meant to be a 'fun run' - I am officially postponing this run.  

For those that are interested we could do this on Sunday evening -- think on it and we will discuss on Saturday.  I will re-post and send out a new Christmas Lights Run if we decide to do this.

Please be careful out there and we'll see each other on Saturday!

I know that we decided that we would run on the Northside this week but since we are in for some weather tonight (stay tuned to see if we cancel the Christmas Lights Run tonight) and the chances are the snow will not melt by Saturday...I'm making an executive decision to move the run. Sorry :(

Christmas Lights Run - Thursday night 6:30 pm

Hello everyone!

I'll send out the Saturday Run on Thursday morning but this is to let you know that we will be doing a Christmas Lights Run on Thursday night (12/20/2012) for anyone who wishes to join us.  

We will start in the Piggly Wiggly parking lot at the corner of Spring and Newman (park here) and run through the Independence Rd and the James Town neighborhoods (route here).  We will meet at 6:30 PM

Saturday’s run

Sounds like we should hit the trails once again before the snow flies…so let's go downtown and do the CNH Run.  Park here and see the route here.

We will try a new place for coffee: Divino Gelato Café (the old Dunn Brothers location) – they have coffee, small selection of pastries and breakfast sandwiches.  They open at 8:00 am on Saturday and will be expecting us.

Wow!  December already...what happened to they year?!?

We will be running Regency West (route here) this weekend.  You can find ample parking in the old Sam's Club - so park here.

Coffee will be Panera -- I'm sure you are shocked by that!
