Rick R. asked me to pass on a couple of items that he thought our group might be interested in...here is an except from his email to me and I hope that you will consider joining him!

"For the last few years I have been heavily involved in the Special Olympics.  This year we are doing a 5K run.  It is May 30th, 9:00 pm, at UW Parkside.  http://sowi.kintera.org/faf/home/default.asp?ievent=1130899   The following week we will be hosting the Law Enforcement Torch Runs.

We are looking for sponsors.  Attached you will find a flyer which gives a layout of the different sponsorship levels.  Could you share this information with the running club?

The 5K run is going to be a fun event, lights and sirens, a lot of squad cars, fire trucks, glow sticks, even a "jail cell" for photo opportunities, and much more.  I hope to see many of the run group and their children there.

Thank you

Rick R."
